BIOGRAPHY

Born in Trinidad, I grew up with caribbean rhythms and have been playing drums, percussion and steelpan, the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago, since my teens.
I performed with the master of the steelpan Len Boogsie Sharpe and was on tour as a member of the group "Phase II Pan Groove" in the Caribbean, United States and Japan.
With the Reggaeband "Shaman" (1) I played drums in the Caribbean (Jamaican Sun Splash Festival), United States and Malaysia.
Since 1996 I have been working as a musician in Europe with the "Timna Brauer & Elias Meiri-Ensemble" (2), "Hans Tschiritsch" (3), "Hannibal Means", "Hubert von Goisern", "Urga" (4) and "Dubblestandart" (5).

Own projects: "Oldtime Calypso", "Techno-Kaiso", "Jab Jab-Steelband" (6) and the group "Jab Jab Kaiso" (7), "De Funky Calypso Band" (8)
